"If Black Sabbath decided to quit playing hard rock and tried playing ska and reggae, but were too pop to pull it off--you would have Redband. At times we might sound a little like Devo and other times like a rock band of no particular style. We have been told that our singer Jeff sounds like a cross between Danzig and Elvis -- holy crap, now that's a teaser! We hope to offer you something fresh for your spent little ears to listen to."

Redband consisted of:

Jeff Hoyle-vocals
Jim Nybo-guitar
Chad Channing-bass
Andy Miller-drums

Chad Channing, of course, did play drums for Nirvana and other bands like the Fire Ants, and The Methodists. He currently is fronting the band Before Cars. Both Andy and Jeff played together in Buddha's Favorite Color, and Jim and Andy played together in Cat From Dog Mountain.
